What is an operational car lease arrangement?

A long-term lease, also known as operational leasing, fundamentally represents a traditional leasing arrangement: the lessor purchases the asset that the lessee wishes to use, then transfers the right of use to the lessee.

The owner transfers the asset for a specified period under the lease agreement, against payment of fees, which at the end of the term becomes the property of the lessee after paying the agreed residual value or returns it to the lessor.
